Hudson Elite is always looking for ways to train harder, improve performance and stay healthy. This task no longer seemed possible without the decision to bring on a strength coach, and we found the perfect man for the job. Randy Hauer is the head coach of the Flatirons Weightlifting Team operating out of the Flatirons Performance Center. He has spent the last 7 months working with Hudson Elite athlete, Addie Bracy. Concerned about training for the CIM Marathon after dealing with a hip injury, she sought the guidance of Randy in an effort to become stronger and more durable. After overwhelming success, the results became undeniable, leading to the partnership between Hudson Elite and the Flatirons Performance Center. Randy is a certified USA Weightlifting National Coach, member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association and a former Russian Kettlebell Team Leader and course instructor. A former runner and competitor in Kettlebell Sport, Randy blends his knowledge of both disciplines to form training programs specifically designed to make our athletes better and healthier runners. Since moving his performance coaching to Boulder in 2009, Randy has worked closely with pro cyclists, triathletes, Division 1 athletes in volleyball and rowing, and event Pro Timber Sports athletes. All of the Hudson Elite athletes will be working with Randy in preparation for the 2015 season. We could not be more excited to welcome the Flatirons Performance Center to the Hudson Elite team.
