Having trained in Boulder, Colorado in the past, former Oregon Duck Parker Stinson has decided to return to the area and call the running Mecca his permanent home. We are thrilled that Parker has chosen Hudson Elite to accompany him on this new path. Parker is a 9 time All-American and notched two 3rd place finishes in the 5K at the NCAA championships. With impressive collegiate personal bests of 7:51 in the 3K, 13:28 in the 5K, and 27:54 in the 10K, it is obvious that Parker has the potential to be one the country’s best distance runners. Regarding the move and decision to join Hudson Elite, Parker said “I believe in us as a team, and I love everything this club is doing to keep moving forward. I’m excited to be part of its future.” Parker’s addition is another step in our goal to establish Hudson Elite as one of the best running clubs in the country. Coach Hudson said, “Parker has already had some amazing coaches in his career. After working with Timo Sheard in high school and Andy Powell at Oregon, I hope to pick up where they left off and continue his development. He is very mature and professional and will be bringing more to the team than just fast times.” We are looking forward to supporting Parker in the next step of his career and are confident in his ability to not only continue with impressive performances, but to help to take Hudson Elite to the next level.
